1. What are the factors that contributed to the success and failure of Steve Jobs as a technopreneur ?
Success:
Who is Steve Jobs?
Steve Jobs is an Inventor, a genus Inventor and Business Magnate, and also the founder of the APPLE Company. He is the one who start the APPLE, and the first home Computer that he made is named “APPLE LISA” with GUI (Graphical User Interface) , which is the word “LISA” came from his daughter name.
Steve Jobs actually is a Dropped Out student, but take a look what we are now because of it, we have a high technology and the Mac has a multiple typefaces now. Amazing.
Edited- and just obtain a little bit idea in this LINK:

Factors of Success
First Impression Is Important:
Your first impression on any person decides many other things, which you may come across in future. In business world, you get hardly few moments/minutes to present yourself and your ideas to bag a deal. You get very less time to make a person believe you who has never seen you before, who does not know much about you. You have to be perfect in whatever you are going to present. It is very important that you should be able to make a solid first impression. Your dressing sense, the way you talk to others, your gestures, your manners etc. play an important role in first impression. You should dress up in something that is pleasant in looks; generally formal wears are preferred for this reason. The type of clothes, combination of color, design pattern etc. decide your attitude and nature at some extent. So be careful about the selection of what you wear at work. (Shalaka Bhosale)
Our first impression is the first thing that deals in our minds and to deal it in other people. In Techno Business World, as a Technopreneur you must be careful of what you are doing and if possible you must be perfect in all different ways specially when you are presenting your Business Plan on how you would deal your Technology in Business.
When he was starting to do his career, he improve a lot in all aspects of his way of dress up, he cut off his beard and hair to be formal and something that is pleasant in looks of other people. One other thing in order to other people to trust you, when your not in a formal dress up and good looking other will judge you.
Your Attitude Counts:
People with right attitude rather than only positive attitude are trusted more. You need to keep in mind that the person you are going to deal in business world can guess your attitude just by observing your behavior, your views regarding some points, your gesture etc. You do not have to try and show that you are full of positive attitude, which surely will harm your position; you just need to show the right attitude. (Shalaka Bhosale)
Attitude, in Techno Business World it is useless to have a Positive Thinking Attitude but not in a right way. It is simple, for example you are in the middle of the transaction wherein you are dealing with your Business Plan, yes you have a positive attitude to introduce your Business Plan but see to it that your Business Plan that you’ve share suit to the needs of a certain customer which must be the right.
In terms of his attitude, he shows a great attitude. He always thinks positive and confidence of what his invented. He introduces what are the advantages of having computer of a certain business, to manage and to improve a lot in all ways. Well he manages to speak positively in all customers he have, he observe first what the needs of the customers are and suggest best ways to improve and implement to their company, specially his product.
Think Before You Speak:
I believe you should not speak out about a topic you do not know or have very less knowledge about. It is better to let others think you are a fool rather than opening your mouth and proving it. First you should properly think over the point that you are going to put forward, prepare yourself and then SHOOT. Keep in mind, you get only few minutes to present yourself and your ideas, try to speak to the point, use impressive words, which will help you make others believe that you are the right person to handle the job. (Shalaka Bhosale)
In Techno Business World, as a Technopreneur in the middle of transaction, you must be a good Critical Thinker. . In any Transaction there are a lot of things may happen in the situation which is you may not even know, because other people that you deal with has other way of thinking. So you must be vigilant and observant all the time.
Steve Jobs has a great "Critical Thinking Skills" he thinks before he act/speak. He first settle things in his mind and visualize things that may happen before to decide. He use Impressive Words to his invention and never think negative, he deal his own invention to be known to the public and business company, in order to gain trust to other people and customers. He thinks properly before to anything to be speak.
Home Work Is Important:
Homework plays an important role. You can impress people better when you have thorough knowledge of the subject you are presenting yourself in. Lesser you know about the subject you are speaking on, less confident you are, which is surely just like a breach in your fort. Homework helps in inducing confidence and in turn your attitude. (Shalaka Bhosale)
Simple if you do not know the subject that your dealing with, then you are not well confident and no trust to yourself.
Steve Jobs is the one who invent of his product or master piece, he all know what are the all things that pack in his invention. In that way he can speak well of what his product all about and easily gain more attention to other people. Encourage people to become part of his invention and spread out all over the world.
Be Confident:
As I stated above, be confident of what you state and whatever you do. There can be a situation when you can win a deal of your lifetime just because you are confident you can do it! (Shalaka Bhosale)
If you have the GUTS then you have the Power.
The Confident!. . The Confident of Steve Jobs as an Inventor of Computer, he trust that his invention may part of the history and the beginning of the technology.

Failure:
Steve Jobs Failure as a Technopreneur, he starts not to manage well his own company by neglecting other employees and May the future employees, for his pride and his satisfaction. He was blinded by Money, Fame and Power. He doesn’t care to others feelings and emotions, just like the example part of the story “Pirate of Silicon Valley”. He manage informal way of interview to the people who are applying to his company, he ask questions that are non-sense and other have a sense but awful way questioning , just like “Are you a Virgin?” first impression of a person is about talking his virginity. So as a person who is applying he must answer those entire questions in order to the manager to be impressed but suddenly it only makes him embarrassed. And Steve Jobs degrade him and judged, without knowing that this person actually is an expert.
And as a Leader or a Founder of Company, you are accountable of your own employees especially at their works it must have its limitations. But in the case of Steve Jobs it happens to be a slave not actually a slave but he already controlling other people for his own good and purposes without knowing their feelings and their sides.
And lastly, all things that he have, he doesn’t consider it as a FAMILY.
Commenting on his return to Apple, Jobs told Steve Lohr of the New York Times Magazine , “It was like the first adult love of your life; something that is always special to you no matter how it turns out.”

2. How do you see yourself as a Technopreneur?
“I really like the CHALLENGE, but sometimes I ask myself, can I achieve it? Sure(nn) Inspire!”
Honestly to tell as I see myself as a Technopreneur , it is so difficult considering the fact that it will be a great competition for each individual who has same mind set to be a Employer / Technopreneur. Technopreneurship is the most and highly needed now in all businesses especially we are now in the generation of a High Technology. Dealing some Business Plan and in a way of applying technology in any aspects of the business.
As of now, as a IT student(IC) Institute of Computing of the University of Southeastern Philippines, their are a lot of things I must know about dealing some Business Plan and Technopreneurship, I need to enhance a lot of things that I have and master all the elements to be a successful Technopreneur and Business Man. The only way I should manage myself properly to be a globally competitive is to have all the Characteristics of a Good Technopreneurship. The characteristics are hardworking, self-confident, build for the future, profit-oriented, persistent, responds to feed back, demonstrate initiative, willing to listen, set own standards, copes with uncertainly, committed, builds on strength, risk taker and many more. And especially Master the SEED.
S – Self Mastery
E – Environment Mastery
E – Enterprise Mastery
D – Development of Business Plan
Well, I already experienced what is Technopreneurship is all about, from the previous activity that we have conducted in IT-Elective 1(Technopreneurship). We are assigned a tasked to observe a company, a Food Chain Company just like MCDonald’s, Jolibee, Etc. The main purpose of this activity is too observed and thinks something that we should enhance on their company talking about Technopreneurship. I conducted an observation at MCDonald’s, then at that point I started to realized all things and possible Business Plan that may happen in order to them to be a good and competitive company, of course using some technology to enhance. And now I see myself as a Technopreneur in the near future, and all I need to do is enhance, boost and masters all the elements to be a good Technopreneurship.
And above all things that I’ve desire in my life, is in JESUS CHRIST. We are nothing without our GOD. (Matt. 6:33) “Seek first the Kingdom of GOD and his Righteousness and all these things will be added to you”.
10 Years from now, I will be future (Filipino Steve Jobs) and Billionaire Pesos? hmMm. . Dollor(nn).
(Sir Randy S. Gamboa) Successful Technopreneurship. Doesn’t require this , but the knowledge . The Greatest Asset we have(nn).

3. Would you take the same career path that Steve Jobs took? Why or why not?
(Michel Lhuillier) “He believes that if you want your business to succeed, you have to get brilliant people who knows the field and who can competently execute your vision”.
(MLUILLIER Company)
In the world of Business, you must be vigilant and be wise. If you have the money then use it wisely, if you don’t have then be sure you are one of the brilliant people in the world.
Is it OK if i choose both?(nn)
Yes, it is because it seems like he is so brilliant and at his early age, who would expect? that he is the beginning of the. . .shall we say the evolution, yes it is right. . the evolution of the TECHNOLOGY. . the Computers and everything. . We will accept it all that without him, it seems like our technology now is not this powerful, not exactly as powerful but so nice(nn). The way he think so deep and so Big. . can you imagine?? He is just a dropped out student and yet so intelligent. Haha, I imagine if I take same path of Steve Jobs. . in order to achieve his path, I also need to be dropped out =).
But facing for the reality it is so difficult, if we took same path as what Steve Jobs done. For now, we need to go to school, enhance our knowledge and be a brilliant person in order for us to achieve something so BIG! . . Look for the future. .
Steve Jobs, He thinks different more than anyone else.

Career Details
By 1975, Jobs started to get involved with the Homebrew Computer Club, which was headed by Steve Wozniak, an acquaintance of his from Hewlett Packard. Wozniak was starting to develop what would become the prototype for the Apple Computer series. Jobs had persuaded him to market his designs and prototypes and the two of them began, in earnest, to develop what would ultimately become the first Apple Computer.
Jobs and Wozniak worked on the Apple I in Jobs’ garage and by 1976 they offered models for sale. The most uniquely innovative feature of the $700 machine was its single board read-only memory (ROM), which instructed the computer to load and read other programs from outside sources.
The development and sale of the Apple II, which retained the unique features of its predecessor in an updated format, began in 1977. Jobs then got in touch with the former marketing manager at Intel and brought him to Apple. Jobs began to encourage independent programmers to create software for the Apple II, and soon everything from business management tools to video games became available for use on the Apple II.
First year sales for Apple were almost $3 million. Impressive as that was, it paled in comparison to the figures reached by the beginning of the 1980s. By 1980, sales had ballooned to $200 million, and the phenomenal success of Apple helped to usher in the revolutionary personal computer era.
Throughout the 1980s, Apple was forced to continuously update its systems in order to stay ahead of the competition. Jobs and Apple faltered a bit with the release of the Apple III in 1980. The model was riddled with technical and marketing problems and as a result, sold poorly.
In 1983, Jobs pitched Lisa as the computer for business people who had limited computer expertise. Lisa did not sell well due to its high price and the increased competition from IBM who, by 1983, had gained half of Apple’s market share.
In 1984, Apple released the Macintosh computer. Envisioned as the computer that would revitalize not only Apple but the computer industry as well, the Macintosh floundered at first. The initial downfall of the Macintosh in business circles was its lack of a letter-quality printer and a hard drive. The less than stellar sales of the Macintosh were instrumental in bringing about Jobs’ forced resignation from Apple.

No, I won’t take the same career path that Steve Jobs took; it is because even though he achieves a lot of things in life but as I saw the story “Pirate of Silicon Valley” there in no GOD in their lives. For me life is useless without GOD. I’d rather to have a simple way of living and simple career, the important thing is I have GOD in my LIFE. A simple life with GOD and have a passion is for equal to a greatest achievement that I can call it mine. If we look to the reality now, a lot of people want to be a in top of the world, the world is full of heroism.
